Using Skills
Install the Plugin, open a new Host session and check Qiongli tools.
Describe the task
State the result you need, the material you have and any requirements. For example:
Read this paper. Explain the findings, evidence locations and limitations.
Write the results section from this analysis. Preserve estimates, citations and uncertainty.
A narrow task loads the relevant guidance. Design follows the method and approved protocol; polish preserves numbers, terms, citations and causal limits. Formal deliverables still need their evidence and checks.
Choose an entry
Codex and DeepSeek provide qiongli, no-qiongli and 20 workflow entries, including qiongli-paper-read, qiongli-lit-review and qiongli-stage-close. Codex uses $ invocation. Claude uses the main research Skill and accepts natural-language requests.
For discussion without file work, use $no-qiongli or say “reply only”. See reply-only scope.

If tools are missing, check the connection without inventing results or bypassing approval. Saving requires a preview, approval and the current revision. Stage summaries preserve original files; you select and delete files yourself.
Journal fit and pre-submission review
- Journal chosen: “Check this journal's initial-submission requirements and suggest changes to the draft.”
- Finding a journal: “Read the manuscript, then compare suitable journals, readers and costs.”
- Research review: “Review the methods and claims with source-based findings.”
Check current journal sources, article type and submission stage. Advice remains provisional when only an abstract or incomplete material is available. Separate expression edits from additional analysis; multiple perspectives from one model are self-review. Confidential reviews follow the journal's AI-use and confidentiality rules.
